I like to work in a variety of media and my practice crosses between textiles; mixed media; drawing and soft sculpture, often a mixture of the above.

My still life work, inspired by objects that I have collected, explores colour, pattern and the rhythm between these arranged objects, using painted and printed fabric.

My landscapes record the places I enjoy, mostly inspired by Dorset where I live; blending papers with fabric which are either collaged or stitched.
When stitching both landscape or still life, I use an old Singer hand sewing machine with black thread which helps emulate the drawn line.
