19th Century Tea Caddy with Inset Jasperware Medallions

1. Cleaned all Jasperware medallions mechanically, avoiding contact with metal and wood surrounds.
2. Silicon rubber mould taken of medallion on lid of caddy.
3. Replacement medallion cast using epoxy resin.
4. Retouched using airbrush

2. Bond by capillary action.
3. Fill using epoxy resin,fumed silica and pigments to match body colour of plate.
4. Rub down filled areas using 00 flour paper.
5. Polish fills using micromesh cloth.
